Please Note!
Be sure to select the appropriate grade of the student for whom you are entering the hours. Be consistent with the student's name you use - if you use a nickname, then always use the nickname. This simplifies the reporting process. Thanks.
Accumulated Hours
You may enter accumulated hours for a single category in one entry. For example, if you work at the Student Store for 1 hour at a time over 8 weeks, you can submit that as one entry for 8 hours. You do not have to enter the 1 hour 8 separate times.
Track Hours at Home
Please keep a written record at home as a back up in case of errors, website or computer problems, etc.
Submit ALL Hours Worked
The 30 hours per year guideline is the minimum commitment each family must satisfy. Please continue to report all qualifying hours you volunteer for ICS, as we need to track this total.
Submit Hours for Employee Matching Programs to Your Employer if Eligible
If the volunteer hours were completed by a parent that works for a company with an Employee Matching Program that will match volunteer
hours with a financial contribution to that organization (in our case, ICS PTSA), please remember to submit them. Microsoft is one employer that matches hours (at $17/hour).
