ICS Newsletter Replaces ParentOrganizer
Starting July 1st, 2011, ICS PTSA will be switching from ParentOrganizer to Constant Contact for its email communication. The good news? No more complicated account management, a reduced number of emails, and a weekly, nicely formatted Newsletter with links to things you want. Constant Contact will also allow ICS PTSA to monitor how many Newsletters are getting opened, and give us more ability to update contact information as it changes throughout the years. The cost is affordable, and the company is very responsive to requests.
Because of feedback from the LWSD parent community, ICS PTSA will move to a weekly newsletter format. These newsletters will come out each Sunday and be your main source of information for what’s happening at ICS – upcoming events for you and your student, as well as volunteer opportunities. They will work in conjunction with the this website to keep you up to date. If necessary, there will be occasional short email notes between newsletters.
For those wishing to submit articles to the Newsletter, there are new guidelines – most notably that items will need to be submitted to communications@icsptsa.org by Thursday midnight to be included in the Sunday newsletter. For full details see the Newsletter submission instructions.
