How do I get access to the PTSA website and create a log-in id?

You can access the PTSA website by visiting www.icsptsa.org
You can create an ID to access secure areas of the website by clicking on 'Sign in' link under the 'MEMBER LOGIN' tab on the right side of the home page, and then clicking on the Don't have an account link. Once you request an account to be created, you will receive an automated email message asking you to confirm that you indeed requested an account to be created. You must click on the link in that email to confirm this. If you do not, we will not receive your request. If you do not receive that automated email message within 1 hour of making your request, please check your SPAM or Junk folders. Once we've received your request, please allow 24 hours for your account to be verified and approved. Once your account is approved, you will receive an automated email message indicating so. If you have not received an email within 24 hours, please check your SPAM or Junk folders. The system generated email messages sometimes end up in those boxes.

 

How do I sign up for volunteer jobs?

At the beginning of the school year, you can add your name to the interest list for opportunities to fulfill your volunteer hour requirement at www.icsptsa.org under the Volunteering tab.  It is suggested that you only add your name to three committees that are of interest to you.  Some committees only require a few people or have already been determined by the start of the school year.  A list of Committees and their descriptions can be found under this Volunteering tab as well.  Please remember that as an ICS family, you have committed to 30 hours of volunteer time per year. All families, especially ones new to ICS should be sure to please review the requirements page  which will provide you with some background information and answer many common questions about volunteering.

Online volunteer interest lists usually close at the end of September, approximately one month after school starts.  After that time, you will need to contact the committee chairs directly to see if they still need volunteers.  You can find their information in the Contact Us section of the website.

Note: Chaperoning for school events is not included in the online sign up list since chaperones will be requested via the weekly newsletter as each event occurs throughout the year. Other volunteer opportunities will also be advertised in the weekly newsletter throughout the year.  The newsletter is sent out mid-day Sunday, so check your email inbox to find out about these new opportunities.

How do I request a matching gift?


Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant must be initiated by you, the donor/volunteer. You can do this by filling out and submitting through an electronic submission process or a paper match form provided by your employer.

When submitting your donation for a matching gift, please be sure to make the submission to International Community School PTSA 2 8 89 and not to ICS (the school). ICS PTSA and ICS are two separate organizations.

How do I stay informed about what is going on at school?

We are committed to keeping you informed about ICS news, events, and ways to be involved and volunteer with the PTSA. Please check our website, subscribe to and read the weekly newsletter, and attend the monthly parent meetings. Information regarding our communication avenues can be found here.
