Co-Presidents
- Responsible for scheduling and leading all Board of Directors and Parent Meetings
- Communicate with Principal on a regular basis
- Both are required to sign all checks and contracts for the PTSA
- Approve all Newsletter postings
- Oversee all committees
- Lead any Parent Orientation meetings
- Nominate Member at Large positions
- Initiate Nomination Committee
- Set up schedule for Board to attend the LWSD Council meetings, whenever possible, and disseminate the information from those meetings and from the Council
Co-Treasurers
- Check depositor
- Chair of the Financial Review Committee
- Matching funds
- Membership
- Passive fundraising
- Prepares and presents Financial Statements to all Board of Directors and Parent Meetings
- Collects reimbursement forms and writes checks to fulfill reimbursement requests
- Prepares payment for state and council payments
- Prepares financial papers for the twice-yearly audit
- Prepares items for tax time
Co-Secretaries
- Public Relations
- Assemble, distribute and publish the agenda for each Board meeting
- Founders’ Luncheon
- Take notes at all Board of Directors and Parent Meetings
- Keep notes from meetings for permanent record in online file system
Vice-Presidents
- Attend all Board of Directors and Parent Meetings
- Contact all Committee Chairs for meeting agenda inclusion
- Disseminate information to all Committee Chairs

Elected officers are required to attend all Board of Directors and Parent Meetings. Per the Volunteer Hours listing, all elected officers may receive volunteer credit for attendance at Board of Directors Meetings.
All elected positions are a two-year commitment.
