Recognition

Awards

The Outstanding Educator award is a Washington State PTA award given in recognition of an individual who goes beyond the normal expectations of their job to make the learning environment fun, beneficial, and challenging.

The Golden Acorn is the highest Washington State PTA award given to individuals for outstanding service in the school community. ICS PTSA makes a donation to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Foundation in the name of each of our recipients, which in turn funds $55,000 in scholarships to high school seniors for post secondary education.

The Phoenix award is given in recognition of an individual who has done an exceptional job on a task or committee. This award is unique to ICS.
